Add a file or image attachment option for the Notes in opportunities
We would like to request the addition of a feature that allows users to attach files or images directly within the Notes section of Opportunities in the GoHighLevel CRM system. Currently, users can only add text-based notes to their opportunities, but there are situations where attaching images or documents (such as contracts, images, invoices, or screenshots) directly to a note would greatly enhance the workflow and improve efficiency. This feature would allow for more comprehensive documentation within opportunities, helping users keep all relevant materials tied to a specific opportunity in one place. This addition would be particularly beneficial for sales teams and account managers who need to reference supporting documents while working with clients or prospects. Use Cases: Sales teams can attach product images, proposals, or contracts to a note for future reference during follow-up conversations. Customer support teams can attach screenshots of user issues to better track and resolve problems. Project management teams can upload project documents, images, and other resources directly into the opportunity's notes to maintain a clear record of all project stages and client communications. Proposed Solution: Add a button or drag-and-drop area within the Notes section for file and image uploads. Support for common file formats such as PDFs, Word documents, and image files (JPEG, PNG). Display attached files/images in a preview format within the note, with the option to download or open them. Ensure attachments are linked to the specific Opportunity and remain accessible as long as the Opportunity is active in the system. Benefits: Streamlined workflow with fewer steps required to access critical documents or images. Improved record-keeping by centralizing important materials under each Opportunity. Enhanced collaboration and communication within teams, as all documents related to an Opportunity are easily accessible.
