💡 Feature Request: Upgrade GoKollab’s 1:1 DMs into a Full Chat Experience
GoKollab already has 1:1 direct messages — but they currently: Live in a small side pop-up box Feel hidden, secondary, and non-immersive Are easy to forget exist Don’t feel like a real place to talk Don’t create habit loops Don’t invite daily use Don’t feel like a social space The current UI communicates: “This is a utility inbox… not a place to hang out.” Which quietly suppresses usage. The Problem Direct messaging is one of the highest-retention features in every major platform: Instagram, WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, Slack — all treat chat as a primary destination, not a pop-up. But in GoKollab, DMs feel: Small Secondary Optional Easy to ignore So members default to external platforms to have real conversations — even though GoKollab technically already supports messaging. The Root Cause The current DM experience is: Pop-up based Non-immersive Not designed as a “place” Not designed to be lived in Which prevents: Habit formation Social anchoring Emotional bonding Daily usage loops ⚠️The Risk If this remains unchanged: Members will continue chatting on Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc. GoKollab becomes “where you access content” — not where relationships live Retention remains capped Engagement never reaches its true potential The Opportunity Upgrading the DM UI would: Increase daily active usage Increase session length Increase emotional attachment Increase message volume Increase retention Make GoKollab feel like a social destination ✅ The Solution: A Full Chat Interface Turn DMs into a primary chat experience, not a utility pop-up. How it could work: Add a dedicated “Chat” tab in the main sidebar Full-screen or split-pane chat interface Conversation list on the left Active chat on the right Typing indicators Read receipts Emoji reactions File sharing Voice notes (optional future) Search inside chats Pinned messages Make chat feel like: Instagram DMs Discord private messages Slack DMs A place members naturally live. 📈 The Result Members will stop seeing DMs as “support inboxes” and start seeing them as their personal communication hub inside GoKollab. Chat becomes: A habit A destination A retention engine A culture builder GoKollab shifts from: “Where I go to access content” to “Where my people live.” This UI upgrade alone would dramatically increase: Daily active usage Retention Platform stickiness Emotional loyalty And perfectly sets the foundation for native group chat expansion later.

Barcode Scanner Integration with Action Buttons & System Sync for Invisalign Package Tracking
📝 Feature Description: We propose a Barcode Scanner Integration with HighLevel CRM to streamline and automate the management of Invisalign packages in dental clinics. This feature will help eliminate manual tracking, reduce errors, and improve communication with patients. ⚙️ How It Works: 1️⃣ Custom Barcode for Each Package: Each Invisalign package will have a unique barcode assigned to a specific client. The barcode can contain: Client’s Name contact information Delivery Address (if shipping) Order ID 2️⃣ Scanning Process - Two Stages: ✅ Scan #1 (When Package Arrives at Clinic): Staff scans the barcode using a linked barcode scanner (Scan Recorder). A pop-up appears (either on the scanner device or within HighLevel depending on integration): Shows: Client Name / Order Number / Current Status Presents Two Options: Notify Client – Package Arrived → Sends SMS/WhatsApp: "Your Invisalign package has arrived at the clinic. Please visit us to pick it up or choose home delivery." Mark as Delivered (if shipping immediately without waiting for the client) Once selected → The order status automatically moves in the pipeline from “In Production” to “Ready for Pickup”, and corresponding workflow automation is triggered. ✅ Scan #2 (When Package is Collected or Shipped): Staff scans the barcode again when the package is delivered or handed to the courier. The same Pop-up appears with options: Confirm Delivery/Pickup → Status moves to “Delivered” or “Completed” in the pipeline. Triggers follow-up automation like: Invisalign care instructions Cleaning reminders Appointment scheduling for the next stages. 📦 Pipeline Example: Stage Action Required Automation Trigger 🦷 Measurements Taken Manual Reminder follow-ups ⚙️ In Production Manual 📦 Ready for Pickup ✅ Scan #1 → Notify Client Pickup booking +reminders 🚚 Delivered/Completed ✅ Scan #2 → Confirm Delivery Aftercare instructions automation 🖥 Technical Request: The Barcode scanner device (Scan Recorder) should be integrated or connected via API to sync in real-time with HighLevel CRM. Pop-up actions should be configurable in HighLevel settings for flexibility. All scans should be logged for audit trail purposes. 🎯 Why This Feature? Solves real operational pain points for dental clinics handling numerous Invisalign orders. Reduces manual data entry errors. Makes it easier for the team to keep track of package status. Improves communication and customer satisfaction. If this feature gets approved and implemented, it will significantly help clinics and other businesses that manage physical products/orders through HighLevel.
