Invoicing

Allow Automated Invoices to Dynamically Use Opportunity Value (or other Custom Field) as Line Item Amount
I’d like to suggest a feature improvement for invoicing in GoHighLevel that would significantly improve automation for service-based businesses with variable pricing. Currently, there is no way to automate sending an invoice where the line item amount dynamically equals the Opportunity value. From what we can tell, the only way to send an automated invoice through workflows is by using a pre-built invoice template with fixed product pricing. This does not work for businesses like ours where every customer receives different pricing. For example: • one customer may receive a contract and invoice for $1,250 • another may receive $3,740 • another may receive $760 Because pricing varies per client, we cannot realistically maintain preset product pricing for automation. Why this matters: It is critical for our workflow that the sequence is: Customer signs contract → invoice automatically sends → customer pays We intentionally require the contract to be signed first for liability reasons. We’ve had situations where customers pay first and then never sign the contract, which creates risk for our business. Right now, the lack of dynamic invoice pricing forces manual intervention and creates a bottleneck between contract signing and invoice delivery. What would be ideal: Allow workflows and invoice making to: • generate an invoice dynamically • set the line item amount equal to the Opportunity value (or another custom field) This would unlock fully automated contract-to-payment workflows for businesses with custom pricing. Would love to see this added, as it would remove a major operational bottleneck for many service-based companies that does not operate on a handful of fixed prices for their services.
