Invoicing

When one company bills another company it is the name of the company that must appear on the invoice. However the current invoicing 'Customer Information' only includes the Customer Name. Quick and easy fix - please add Company Name {{ contact.company _name}} field for invoices.

We prefer not to use Stripe and want to offer our clients the sole option to pay via bank transfer. Therefore, we provide instructions in the invoice footer and wish to disable the appearance of the green button.

Our sub-account clients often have staff that spend billable time on their end-client projects. They are paying for separate time tracking tools and in some cases then running billing for billable hours manually or in a separate tool than the items they are billing through their GHL Sub-Account. Please consider adding a time tracking capability for Staff with basic reports and ability to create an invoice from those time tracking records. Having such a tool available in GHL is a value-add for our potential clients, allowing them to eliminate one to two other tools they are paying for separately. The time tracking history and records will also make these clients more sticky with this finance and billing related date in their GHL sub-account

Current custom value fields in invoices are limited. We're not able to automatically populate invoices with custom pricing, custom descriptions or other details. If all contact custom values can be available in invoicing, we would be able to automatically customize and populate invoicing for each contact.

Right now, if we want an accountant, a business partner, or an internal team member to be automatically CC'd or BCC'd on invoices, we have to either manually add the email address every single time we send an invoice, or build out an entirely separate Automation Workflow. Manually adding it leaves room for human error, and building a workflow just to CC someone adds unnecessary clutter to our automation logs.

I need the ability to add the company name to the shop as I'm selling a B2B product. Right now I need it for invoices and I just don't have it.

The current invoice notifications are set where we have to send them to the customer via email and text every time. Many clients, especially when those are triggered off hours late at night or in the morning, do not want those notifications via SMS. Sometimes, they get irate over them. Right now we are forced to have both options enabled. We need the control to enable email or SMS or both if we choose. This would make the system more usable versus workarounds like setting the DND for SMS for clients or removing their phone number all together so they won't get the notifications. Also, the default templates need to be cleaned up. The language is strange how things are worded as is the grammar.

We desperately need the ability to attach invoices as PDFs to outgoing emails. I found this previous post that was marked as "COMPLETE" https://ideas.gohighlevel.com/invoicing/p/pdf-invoices-option-without-payment-link But, it clearly isn't😟 Yes there is the ability to generate the PDF once the link is opened but this is not what is meant by "attaching a PDF" We want the ability to have the PDF as an attachment to the email that's sent to the customer. I have attached a mockup of what it might look like from the "Invoice Settings".

would like to submit a feature request for the GoHighLevel Invoice system. Currently, the invoice template uses a fixed layout that provides very limited control over the Description column width. As a result, even moderately sized descriptions wrap excessively and display vertically, creating an unprofessional appearance for client-facing invoices. Business Impact: Many businesses, including travel agencies, event planners, coaches, consultants, and service providers, need to include reservation details, package information, payment plan descriptions, and other important client information within invoice line items. The current layout causes descriptions to wrap unnecessarily, reducing readability and negatively impacting the customer experience. Requested Enhancements: • Ability to manually adjust invoice column widths • Ability to resize the Description column independently • Additional invoice template layouts to choose from • Option to customize invoice table formatting • Improved text wrapping behavior for longer descriptions • Advanced invoice template editor with greater design flexibility Example: A simple description such as "Mary's 70th Birthday Celebration - Single Occupancy Payment Plan" wraps into multiple lines due to the narrow fixed-width Description column, despite ample space being available elsewhere on the invoice. This enhancement would significantly improve the professional appearance of invoices and provide businesses with greater control over customer-facing documents.
