Add dynamic variables to "Enable redirection to custom URL"
Hi! I would like to request a feature enhancement for the Documents & Contracts section within GoHighLevel. Currently, when configuring a contract template using the visual designer, we can only set static URLs in link fields -Enable redirection to custom URL -. However, our use case requires the ability to insert dynamic variables (e.g., {{ contact.email }}, {{contact.full_name}}, etc.) into the URL—similar to how they are used in emails or SMS messages. We want to include a personalized URL in the contract template that redirects the contact to a custom page using query parameters tied to their contact information. For example: https://eliteonetradingelms.com/demo-redirect-login-page?contact_email={{contact.email} } Currently, when we attempt to insert this kind of URL into the contract editor, the platform treats it as a static string, and the variables are not rendered or replaced at runtime. As a result, contacts see the raw template tags (e.g., {{ contact.email }}) instead of their actual values. Expected behavior: We’d like the contract template system to support dynamic variable interpolation within hyperlink URLs, just like it does in other areas of GoHighLevel (emails, texts, etc.). This feature would allow us to: Create smarter and more personalized contract flows. Redirect users to custom login, course, or onboarding pages using their unique contact data. Reduce manual work and friction during the signature process.
