Communities

Can we add a checklist in communities so new users can know the 1st 3 steps they need to take like, Add an intro post, click learning portal, etc and then check it off to know they have completed it?

Today the new Community UI was relaunched now with Gamification. The problem with the current implementation is 1) we don't have the ability to link rewards with the levels. I'd love to give my community members free access to my different courses when they hit certain levels. Also it would be great if we could hold live streams in the community via StreamYard and Zoom as noted in this suggestion here: https://ideas.gohighlevel.com/communities/p/integrate-with-streamyard-zoom-for-community-live-streams On the subject of linking the rewards to the levels. From a user experience perspective the easiest way this could be implemented is when you add a new course to the learning section there's a dropdown under Course Access. Currently is is disabled and locked to "All members have access" it would great if this was unlocked and the other dropdown options were "Unlocks at Level 2", "Unlocks at Level 6", etc. Then as people earn their points and hit each level the courses are automatically unlocked. It would also be great if you could make it so that if you link the course to the level if there was also a disclaimer somewhere that upon being removed from the community they would lose access to the course and there be an option for them to still buy the course standalone. This is mostly useful for paid communities where you lose access to all the resources if you leave the community.

It would be very useful to be able to manually assign personalized badges to certain members of a GoKollab community, visible directly next to their name. Today, Owner and Admin badges already allow us to identify certain roles, but we would like to be able to create other badges such as: Staff, Coach, Support, Support, Moderator, Moderator, Expert, etc. The administrator should be able to: * create different badges, * choose their name and color, * assign them to the members of your choice, * change or remove them at any time. This would allow members to immediately identify the people who are officially part of the team and would greatly improve the readability of large communities.

Would be great to have an affiliate program

It would be great if members can decide how many and when to receive emails/ sms or notification popups when there is activity in the community? It is one of the most difficult tasks to keep members engaged as GHL communities are still rather new. Therefore, suitable notification systems with adaptable functionalities would be great and should be a priority so that we can easily bring members into the community and keep them engaged. They need to learn to come back to the platform regularly and I believe notifications are a great way to support that behaviour. When I create a desktop item on my phone with the community, can it show notifications of activity?

Sell them on different tiers inside of the community to access more courses or other benefits.

We would switch our paid community to GHL immediately if we could customize the gamification. Levels based on engagement is great for a free community, but in a paid community, it's more about getting them to do the work. If you could attach levels to completion of the course, attendance of events, manually upgraded levels, or (even better) triggers in an automation, GHL would be the go-to paid community in our opinion.

Skool has the ability to setup an Auto DM to go out to new members when they join the community. This would be a great feature to add within our communities.

I have a few clients who want to use the gamification of community but don't want people to "con" the system by giving fake likes and running up the leaderboard with that.
