Company Object

Company Object - Custom Fields - Company Activity Feed
I totally agree with all the comments on here, I have a major client who has been waiting for this feature and I had hoped the update rolled out in Labs would address it - but all it did was allow custom fields to be added to a slide in panel under the “Company”tab. This is a basic functionality in all other CRM’s and if we get this right it will open up so many opportunities, the four areas I have spoken to Shaun and Pallavi about are: Custom Fields to show under the Contact / Company tab - it still seems to be locked here and linked to the Company Automation set up - surely if we can add a Custom Field to the Custom Object they should show on the left hand side - exactly the same as the do on a Contact record? And sorted in folders etc. Company Level Activity Feed - again - just the same as in a Contact record - where we can track all conversations with a Contact - all conversations and activity with a Company needs to be in place - as do many people are stating on this thread - in B2B you are talking to multiple contacts in a company and so having one place to see all of these is critical and then the ability to click on a conversation to take you through to Contact level. Company Associations - This seems to have disappeared from the Contact / Company record - There should be an easy way to see every contact associated with a company? It is possible going in to the COmpany by searching the company name and then going in through "Associations" - so the data is there - it is just not that obvious or on the Company record if you go in from a Contact. Company Custom Fields in Forms - Finally we tried adding some of the custom fields from the Company Object into forms and the option does not appear - you can still only choose between Contact or Opportunity fields. Really need this sorting to blow up in the B2B space - keep upvoting and let’s see it happen in Q1 :)

Product-Specific Custom Fields / Personalization Options ON the item
Many e-commerce businesses sell products that require customer personalization right at the point of purchase—things like custom names, monograms, messages, sizes with specific instructions, engraving text, or other unique details per item (e.g., "Add your child's name here" on a T-shirt, custom mug text, or personalized gift notes). Currently, the only workaround is the general "Additional Notes" field at the end of checkout, but it has major limitations. Types needed: Single-line text, multi-line text, dropdowns (for limited options), checkboxes, etc. Options to make fields required (with validation to prevent checkout without input). Ability to set field labels, placeholders, character limits, and help text (e.g., "Enter name exactly as you want it printed – max 20 chars"). Fields tied to line items—so in a cart with multiple customizable products, each shows its own customization inputs clearly. Captured data stored per order line item (visible in order details, opportunities, automations, emails, etc.) for fulfillment. Bonus: Optional integration with product variants (e.g., auto-show custom fields only for certain variants like "Personalized" vs. standard). This is a very common need in Shopify, WooCommerce, and other platforms—adding it natively to HighLevel's e-commerce stores would be a game-changer for agencies running POD, custom merch, event shops, or any personalization-heavy client. Use cases: Apparel stores (custom names/numbers on jerseys or tees) Personalized gifts/jewelry Custom printed items (mugs, posters, phone cases) B2B orders needing PO numbers or special instructions per product

Unique Identifier Field for Company Object (Prevent Duplicates)
Feature Request: Unique Identifier for Company Object For agencies and businesses working in B2B environments, the Company object is the primary entity inside the CRM. However, there is currently no reliable way to prevent duplicate company records. Right now, company duplication happens even when: The company has the same contact The company has the same name The name is intended to behave as a unique identifier but is not consistently enforced Using the company name as the unique ID is not practical, especially internationally. In many regions (including Latin countries), small differences such as: Accents Abbreviations Legal suffixes (SRL, LLC, SA, etc.) Formatting variations cause the system to treat the same business as different companies. This leads to: Fragmented communication history Broken automations Inaccurate reporting Sales confusion Data integrity issues at scale 💡 Proposed Solution Allow users to define a custom field in the Company object as a "Unique Identifier", similar to how email works for contacts. This field could be used for: Tax ID / Fiscal ID Business registration number Company phone number Any custom-defined identifier Expected Behavior When a new company is created (form, API, manual entry, import, workflow), the system should check this field. If the value already exists → update the existing company instead of creating a new one. Prevent duplicate creation when the unique ID matches. Why This Matters For B2B CRMs, data integrity at the company level is critical. Without a true unique identifier, agencies and businesses managing thousands of companies face constant duplication, cleanup work, and unreliable reporting. This feature would dramatically improve scalability, automation reliability, and CRM data quality for all B2B users.
