Company as an Opportunity
I want to be able to make Companies opportunities, and be able to contact all those employees from the same company tabs.
Company Object custom fields and workflows
The ability to have custom fields related to a company object and the ability to put the company through a workflow would be amazing!
Allow contact to multiple "Companies"
System currently allows contact to be only connected to only one company. the same contact can be associated with multiple companies.
Create and filter lists of companies
We and our customers don't sell to people, we sell to companies. In a company, there can be multiple people you speak to during the course of a deal. When our salespeople make lists, they make lists of companies to target, not of people. When they log information and tasks, they go into the company to do this. In the company, they might make a note and see which people with which roles work there, and then decide who to contact. In short, please make it possible to work Company based, not just Contact based.
Currently, you can merge duplicate contacts. Right now we are having an issue with multiple company names being used. Ex: ABC Roofing and ABC Roofing LLC. One employee fills out the form with one and another with the other. Would be helpful to merge those companies to be one and have all the employees associated with it.
Instant Notes (Company/personal, not account)
It would be really useful to have an area where we can post "company" level notes - not account notes, but company notes. Like having a journal. Something we can pop up quickly, no matter where we are in the system, and record a time/date stamped note for ourselves. It would be good if we could reference an account, a contact, etc. Highly searchable so ideas, references, etc., are easily found. HIGHLVL-I-503
Calendars, Custom Fields, and Trigger links are all not alphabetized. It's confusing because custom values is alphabetized. Please alphabetize these sections to make it easier to find.
