Company Object - Custom Fields - Company Activity Feed

I totally agree with all the comments on here, I have a major client who has been waiting for this feature and I had hoped the update rolled out in Labs would address it - but all it did was allow custom fields to be added to a slide in panel under the “Company”tab.
This is a basic functionality in all other CRM’s and if we get this right it will open up so many opportunities, the four areas I have spoken to Shaun and Pallavi about are:
- Custom Fields to show under the Contact / Company tab - it still seems to be locked here and linked to the Company Automation set up - surely if we can add a Custom Field to the Custom Object they should show on the left hand side - exactly the same as the do on a Contact record? And sorted in folders etc.
- Company Level Activity Feed - again - just the same as in a Contact record - where we can track all conversations with a Contact - all conversations and activity with a Company needs to be in place - as do many people are stating on this thread - in B2B you are talking to multiple contacts in a company and so having one place to see all of these is critical and then the ability to click on a conversation to take you through to Contact level.
- Company Associations - This seems to have disappeared from the Contact / Company record - There should be an easy way to see every contact associated with a company? It is possible going in to the COmpany by searching the company name and then going in through "Associations" - so the data is there - it is just not that obvious or on the Company record if you go in from a Contact.
- Company Custom Fields in Forms - Finally we tried adding some of the custom fields from the Company Object into forms and the option does not appear - you can still only choose between Contact or Opportunity fields.
Really need this sorting to blow up in the B2B space - keep upvoting and let’s see it happen in Q1 :)

Company-Level Conversation View & Outbound Activity Tracking for B2B Sales Management

You built a Prospecting tool to help agencies acquire B2B clients. But there's a critical gap: once acquired, GHL lacks the infrastructure to manage them as B2B accounts. It's like building a car dealership with no service department.
Missing Piece #1: Companies Buried in Navigation
To access Companies, users must go to Contacts → click tab → switch view. Companies should be in the left sidebar below Contacts, not hidden as a sub-tab.
For B2B teams, Companies ARE the primary entity. Account executives think "I need to check ABC Corporation," not "let me find a contact to see the company." The current UI says contacts matter, companies don't.
We need: "Companies" as a standalone sidebar menu item with equal prominence to Contacts, Opportunities, and Calendar.
Missing Piece #2: No Outbound Activity Tracking
GHL tracks customer engagement (email opened, link clicked) but not OUR outbound sales activity - the core of B2B sales.
We can't track:
How many outbound calls did my rep make today?
When did WE last contact ABC Company?
Which accounts have we called 0 times this month?
Did my rep make their 30 daily dials?
Missing:
No "Email Sent" trigger (only opened/clicked)
No "Outbound Call Made" workflow action
No reporting on calls placed by rep
No dashboard for outbound activity by account
Sales managers need to track EFFORT and accountability: daily dials, touchpoint frequency, rep productivity. Current workaround requires third-party tools (Make/Zapier) or manual logging.
We need:
Native "Email Sent" workflow trigger
Native "Outbound Call Made" trigger/action
Dashboard widgets for outbound metrics
Company fields: outbound_touches_30d, last_outbound_date
Missing Piece #3: Unified Company Conversation View
Each contact creates a separate conversation. CEO texts + CFO calls + Operations Manager emails = THREE separate threads.
We need: One "Company Conversations" view showing ALL communications with ANY contact at that company in a single timeline.
Use case: Rep calls dealership and sees:
Last week: We emailed GM about pricing (outbound)
Yesterday: Service Manager texted about delivery (inbound)
This morning: We called CFO for approval (outbound)
One hour ago: GM replied (inbound)
All in ONE place. Complete relationship context.
Missing Piece #4: Company-Level Activity Reporting
Can't natively report on aggregated company activity.
We need:
Total outbound touches to this company this month
Total inbound touches from this company
Last time WE contacted them vs. last time THEY contacted us
"Which of my 50 accounts haven't I called in 30 days?"
"Did each rep complete 30 dials today?"
Current reality: Track "email opened" but not "email sent." Track "form submitted" but not "call made." We measure customer engagement but not sales execution.
Missing Piece #5: Company Assignment
No native way to:
Assign companies to sales reps (only contacts)
Filter by "MY companies"
Dashboard showing "your accounts with no activity in 14 days"
Why This Matters:
B2B sales requires:
Prospecting ✅ (your new tool)
Systematic outreach ❌ (missing)
Relationship management ❌ (missing)
Activity accountability ❌ (missing)
Clients leaving Salesforce ($180/user) ask: "Can it track our sales team's daily activity by account?"
Answer: "Not really. GHL tracks customer engagement, not rep execution."
That's a dealbreaker.
What We Need:
Companies in sidebar navigation - Direct access, equal prominence
Outbound triggers - "Email Sent," "Call Made," "Text Sent"
Company conversations view - All contacts' communications in one timeline
Native activity fields - Auto-updating last_outbound_date, total_outbound_touches_30d
Company assignment - "Assigned To" field enabling territory filtering
Outbound dashboards - Rep productivity, account neglect alerts
B2B sales is 50% tracking inbound engagement, 50% tracking outbound execution. GHL only does half.
Complete the story: Prospect → Outreach → Track → Manage - with full visibility into what customers do AND what our team does.
