Please bring this back asap! The current cache management does not allow scheduled events/posts to be published within a reasonable timeline.
There was a mention of a 1 hour cache somewhere in the documentation, but 4, even 5 hours after a scheduled event occurs, it's still only visible when logged in and hasn't reached the CDN. This results in early morning phone calls to me from clients.
The clear cache button in our GHL WordPress setting doesn't always work (or takes a very long time as well). I shouldn't have to get up at 5:30AM after a scheduled event publishes a post to clear it, and on top of that, not know whether it will actually clear within a few minutes. The only sure-fire workarounds are manual. This is not acceptable for my clients and I hope this is near the top of the WordPress update list.
Ideally, since we're using Cloudflare, it'd be great if there were:
- A GHL version of the Cloudflare plugin that lets you clear the CDN (and local WordPress) cache right from the WordPress Admin bar,
- The ability to turn off caching while updating the site (so you can see quick, simple changes that need to be made live)*, and
- The ability to effectively manage automated cache clearing (i.e. change it to every 30 minutes, or automated after scheduled events occur, or once every hour but it actually works, etc.)
Thank you!
