Pin a specific note to the top. Would be great to have an easily accessible note at the top of the notes list to include links associated with the contact or opportunity, as urls are not clickable in custom fields.

Currently, user permissions in Contacts are fairly broad. A real-world example highlights the challenge: 👉 A company may use the same sub-account for Sales & Marketing, but their Human Resources department also wants to leverage the same account. HR contacts often include sensitive employee data that should not be visible to other users (like sales reps or marketers). Proposed Solution: Introduce Contact Folders with user-level permissions. Admins could create folders (e.g., Sales Contacts, HR Contacts). Folder permissions would allow restriction by user or role. Users without access would not be able to see or search data from restricted folders. Benefits: ✅ Protects sensitive HR or compliance-related data. ✅ Expands platform usability beyond sales/marketing teams. ✅ Allows multiple departments to safely share a single sub-account. ✅ Eliminates the need for duplicate sub-accounts (cost/time savings). This would unlock huge value for organizations that want to consolidate operations inside one account, while still maintaining data privacy across teams.

It would be very useful to be able to access the URLs of documents within a contact ID (in the “documents” section) via API. This is particularly important for our use case: in contact profiles, we upload client photos after treatments, and we need to have a daily overview of these images through an API-based dashboard. Currently, this is not possible. What we need is simply the ability to retrieve the image URL link via the API.

We need a secure way to hide or fully mask client phone numbers and email addresses from sales agents inside GoHighLevel, to prevent internal data leakage, unauthorized copying, and lead theft. Problem: Currently, sales agents can directly view: Full phone numbers Email addresses Copy contact data freely This creates a serious issue: Risk of lead theft Data leakage to competitors No control over sensitive patient/client information Compliance risks (especially for healthcare / medical businesses) 🎯 Requested Solution: We need a new permission-based feature that allows account admins to: Mask Contact Data (Basic Mode) Phone numbers shown as: +90 ** 42 Emails shown as: j***@gmail.com Copying disabled Agents can still: Click to call Click to email Use WhatsApp / SMS buttons Action-Only Mode (Preferred) Agents DO NOT see any raw contact data at all. Instead they see: 📞 “Call Client” button 📩 “Send Email” button 💬 “Send SMS / WhatsApp” System executes communication without revealing data. The New format as of late april 2026 is so much more clunky and unfriendly thatn the previous version. The drop down menu is definitely not preferred to seeing all of the options at once. Does any one know how to revert that back to a previous version? Begging.

Both our marketing and sales users very much dislike the current Contact page layout. The conversation section takes up so much space and all the info (fields) is crammed into a small column. We can't even collapse sections. There's a lot of other smaller layout things we'd like to control as well. (Love the way SFDC allows complete control over object page layouts.)

This is for service management companies that need to provide announcements or directions to their technicians in the field. We are currently using the apple note bubble checklist and it works well but does not scale.

Would love a contact filter option that allows us to select multiple smart lists to be able to combine them into a new smart list. Or just the ability to select multiple smart lists to add to a workflow. Multiple times per week I schedule 4 different smart lists to the same automation for various campaigns and this would help tremendously!

I think that there should be a feature for rotating numbers inside of a workflow to increase deliverability for our outbound text. I have to make 20 different workflows right now. One for each of my numbers for it to work efficiently. There is no workaround other than this because I need a conversation id with the api docs, which does not exist unless there is a phone number tied to it, which has to be one singular number.
