Check out monday.com / Pipedrive, Hubspot, all these CRM have a pipeline and lead restricting feature. Big companies with multiple salespeople and thousands of leads—imagine that. Why don’t we have a feature that restricts salespeople from moving leads further in the pipeline unless specific conditions are met? Monday.com , Pipedrive, and all these cheap CRMs have this feature. For example, if a lead hasn’t been called or has no notes, the salesperson shouldn’t be able to move it to the next stage. They shouldn’t be able to mark a lead as "Contact Made" unless they’ve actually called the person or added a note confirming the interaction. They should be required to input a note before progressing the lead. Only then should they be allowed to move it further in the pipeline.

The new Opportunity actions are FANTASTIC! One issue: How else can we tell a workflow to update an opportunity if one exists, but to create an opportunity if one doesn't exist? A possible solution (which is already being used elsewhere in HighLevel): Give the 'Find Opportunity" action an extra option, like the "Google Sheets: Lookup Spreadsheet Row" action has. Add the option to "Create New Opportunity if one doesn't exist yet". This shouldn't break anything and will solve the issue much better than can be achieved with current methods.

I have added two simple checkboxes with on and off states as custom opportunity fields for tracking whether recruits who came for interview brought their resume and whether their questions sheet was printed. I need css that will allow to add these as a simple checkbox next to other quick actions that will have just an on and off state, so it won't take extra time to open every single opportunity to see if they brought their resume or not.. This is example of what I would like it to be like, but to be the same for all opportunity cards, and track keep the data about on or off state

For instance we have a sales forecast pipeline and an order pipeline. where order status is different. Customer needs to keep switching back and forth on the filters. Save the filter for each specific pipeline.

We used to add "{{document.totalAmount}}{{ estimate.total _amount}}" in the Opportunity Value for the Create/Update Opportunity action, but this is not supported for the new separate Create and Update actions. When the Workflow Trigger is Document or Estimate, we should have a native feature for adding the Total Amount as Opportunity Value for both the Create and Update actions.

Surely it's possible to change this - I don't know who JP is, but I do know who John Payne is...!

We need the ability to track (and edit) an Opportunity's close date (whether it's the date it's marked as Won, Abandoned, or Lost.) This is critical for pipeline reporting, sales commissions or bonuses, reporting on KPIs, calculating demo-to-close rate, etc. There are also plenty of use cases where there's the need not only to track the close date, but edit it: EDIT ABILITY USE CASE #1: Sometimes a deal is closed but the Opp isn't updated right away. Without the ability to edit the date, the close date could be wrong. EDIT ABILITY USE CASE #2: When migrating data from other systems or other "batch" situations where a bunch of historical Opp data is being inserted into HighLevel for recording keeping or reporting. EDIT ABILITY USE CASE #3: We had incorrectly setup a "Stage" for Won Opps vs keeping track of that in the "Status". We fixed that structural issue and updated all the Won Opps via the correct "Status". If close date was tracked and there was no way to edit, all the close dates would be wrong. UPDATE: I had to repost this Idea because HighLevel merged my original one with another Idea that was marked as complete ( https://ideas.gohighlevel.com/opportunities/p/opportunities-dates-more-than-just-date-created ), even though this Idea was not actually addressed in the change log. (Who knows how many great customer Ideas and details have been lost to his haphazard internal process. This seems to happen all the time with HighLevel Ideas for reasons unknown - maybe they have some sort of "Idea Cleanup" quota?) Of course the original idea I posted years ago lost all the upvotes and comments so that's great. Anyway, REPOSTING again!

We have a custom field in our opportunities that is a date picker field, which we would like to be able to sort by that field/date in our pipeline. Every CRM that we've looked at enables you to sort chronologically by a custom date picker field in their pipeline. Seems like an easy fix. Thank you.

Be able to click through all of the contacts in a certain stage without having to exit and re-enter a different contact card each time.

I see no reason why there shouldn't be an option for users who are not the account owner to be able to import and export opportunities. It could be something the account owner designates access to for certain users, just like all the other permissions.
