FYI This is complete as of the 22nd updates if you want to close this out. Please consider working on having different automations based on what chat widget next please since you can't sort which chat widget a customer replied with using workflows yet!!! Sales & Marketing

Dustin Miller My recommendation with how we do it with our client sub-accounts
Treat the SMS chat widget as a contact form.
In the Workflow Automation
Have a Customer Reply Trigger > platform = Chat Widget
If Else on time
If "open hours"
Send "we'll be right with you" SMS
if "closed hours"
Send "We're currently closed but feel free to let us know anything and we'll text you back as soon as possible!" SMS
I don't see why you'd want to disallow a user from form filling during closed hours. Just use better verbiage to set an expectation :)

100% agreed! One of our clients needed the on and off (business) hours set up for live chat.

Sales & Marketing this would make a huge difference in the actual usage of live chat. Without the ability of defining live chat schedule/work hours, live chat is simply not used at all, and we're being forced to use the offline mode only.

Bharat Potdar, actually, the difference maker for me is the ability to have Workflow AI (or Conversation AI) use Reply Channel = Live Chat... This combination is effectively a 24/7 small business customer support agent.
