What'sApp Message Delivery Failed, with random Valid Whatsapp Numbers.

Hello GHL Team and Community Members,
I am facing issues while Sending WhatsApp Message templates to my contacts. To some Contacts, it's delivered and to some, it is not delivered and the error triangle says "undelivered", while clicking on the three dots and going into details it says "failed" at the bottom in the integration section.
My Suggestion is that it must it says the valid reason for why it's failed, rather than just saying failed.
Raised ticked from last 8-10 days, No response.
Troubleshooting steps I've already tested.
- Is the number available on WhatsApp or not?
- Does number have the right Country code?
- Using the approved template.
- Tried sending bulk WhatsApp.
- Tried Sending to Single contact.

Umar Ranginwala , I see this has been marked as complete. Is that because something has been done to solve the marketing template limit or are you just marking it as complete as there’s nothing that can be done?

Cav Finch We have added the enhanced error message. This is an issue from Facebook wherein they are limiting the number of marketing templates a user can receive

Cav Finch Yes, because they can't do anything. I used wati.io before, this for whatsapp api, Never faced such issue.
GHL Whatsapp API is very poor and on issues they come up with silly reasons and the sofware dont' say anyting about the error. but their tem says many things, each agent says diffrent things, trying to make the issue normal.
from last few days facing this same issue with more people and when i reached to the support they came up with new reason that custmomer has blocked my number.
on the other hand my client had a long conversation on the same number and requested a proposal for my service and when i sent the template which inluded the pdf, it just says message delivery failed.
and after that i tried with simple text templates as well, marketing template, utility template, nothing works. suddenly you can't send message. where on the other hand customer is calling me to send the file on whatsapp.
It's very annoying.

Hey Rahul. I had the same issue. Eventually I was told that Meta actually has a limit on the amount of marketing templates any number can receive (from anyone) within a 24 hour period. So if they've received too many that day then it won't deliver.
I created a ticket to find a workaround for this but also more information on why the message failed in GHL would be very useful.
Please upvote this bellow. Hopefully we can get more eyes on this as it can be a massive issue.

Reasons can include:
The recipient phone number is not a WhatsApp phone number.
Sending an authentication template to a WhatsApp user who has a +91 country calling code (India). Authentication templates currently cannot be sent to WhatsApp users in India.
The message was not delivered to create a high quality user experience. See Per-User Marketing Template Message Limits.

Reasons you provided above are not valid.

RE: No. I am sending approved marketing templates, and they being delivered to some other contacts sucessfully.

RE: The user have not recieved any message from this number in past. So Per-User Marketing Tempate Message Limits not reached.
Also the link you shared is about linked your twillio number with whatsapp. but whatsapp dont allow you to create an account if there is an active account running on that number. and i've selected a new free number from meta that you recieve whhile signing up from a verified business profile.
This Reply is of no use. as this are just guesses from your side, I am facing this issue from more than 10 days now. there is no response on the support tickect email. If i talk to the live support they only say it will be solved, and in next 24 hour you will recive email on same ticket. But unfortunately this is not headin anywhere. I see myself at the same stage where i was 10 days earlier.

To create high-quality user experiences and maximize marketing template message engagement, we may limit the number of marketing template messages a person receives from any business in a given period of time, starting with a small number of conversations that are less likely to be read. Note that the limit is determined based on the number of marketing template messages that person has already received from any business, and is not related to your business specifically.
The limit only applies to marketing template messages that would normally open a new marketing conversation. If a marketing conversation is already open between you and a WhatsApp user, marketing template messages sent to the user will not be affected.
