When a contact books an appointment and adds a guest, being able to personalize the guest's notification email with their own name is a very basic expectation. The workaround of capturing the guest name in a custom contact field creates several problems:

It assumes the guest is already a contact in the system

It adds manual steps or complex automation just to achieve something simple

It breaks the guest experience when the field is empty or wrong

My suggestion for the product team: {{guest.name}} and {{guest.email}} should be natively supported merge fields in all calendar-related emails and notifications, since guests are a distinct entity from the primary contact.

Could you please forward this as a feature request? This would significantly improve the usability of the calendar guest feature, which feels half-built without it.
