I would love to see the implementation of a a tailored feature that aligns with the core structure of the affiliate program but with some key nuances, such as variable commission payouts based on loan closings and delayed earnings visibility. This may act more like a referral program than an affiliate program. Ideally in our business model we be able to create a referral partner program that allows us to track and pay commissions to partners who refer us clients. The current affiliate manager setup does not work for us because it relies heavily on products or services sold that are charged on a credit card through Stripe. We don't charge the client directly, but instead get paid by a lender, or other high ticket business service provider we connect the client with, so the amount of the commission to us and the referral partner can vary, and may not be known until the end product is delivered, or when we get close to loan closing, or we are paid. Essentially we want to run a campaign that allows signup, then issue an affiliate link for submitting their referral, and then tracks their deals, and their commissions which are typically based on percentage, of our earnings. Since we don't know the amount of each deal up front, and there is no credit card payment to attach it to, I'm at a loss for how I can implement this. Once we do know the amount, we can calculate the commission for the affiliate to be paid at closing. Putting this out there in case anyone could use something like this, and hoping the Dev Team sees value. Thanks! You guys rock!
