Ability to prevent self referrals (Affiliate Fraud Prevention)

I'm currently working on a referral marketing system that I want to offer my clients so I have been researching best practices...
I see sites like 'referralcandy' has decent functionality on how to predict self-referral fraud... so I'm trying to model off some of these in my custom GHL build system...
I assume that is done on the back end by referencing the IP Address
Could something like that be made possible on GHL?
I see other scenarios commonly mentioned as referral fraud... ... a high volume of referrals in a short time and referral codes leaked on coupon sites
Those would be much harder to handle ...
But the self-referrals scenario I do like...

I would like to see this too. I've pretty much figured out to build a referral campaign, but the only "fraud prevention" I can enable is a double optin feature. And while that will stop bots, I wont stop those who are humans.

This is an absolute must! Along with fraud detection for any referrals that seem to come from the same IP address as the affiliate who referred them (self-purchases etc)
an ability to quickly identify these potential issues before we send out affiliate payments would help immensely
