I'm liking the ability to schedule repeating posts. However, it would be MUCH more powerful if we could create post categories, put the categories in the planner calendar and just add posts to each category for evergreen.

This would allow us to not just be able to schedule a specific post, but a whole category of posts and the system would cycle through all of the posts until the end and then reset and start again.

We’re thrilled to bring the much awaited and powerful new feature of re-purposing your previously posted content by creating Evergreen content buckets categorised based on different themes to be posted consistently creating brand visibility and supercharge your content strategy.

Now create your first post mapped to a defined category -> that can be re-purposed in the 'Category queue' creation feature. Please find the screenshots attached for reference.

Pointers to note:

Category queues can be created for already published content, tagged to a certain category.
Category queues can be paused/ resumed at any point as we deem fit for planning the content.

It can be deleted incase we do not want the same content to go out.

The content of the previously published posts- can be edited/ updated while the creation of category queue.

The ability to have evergreen buckets was a fantastic feature in Social Bee which we left to come to GHL. This was a very powerful tool within their platform and would be amazing to have within GHL

Is there any ETA on when something like this could be available? Q2 2025?

We left SocialBee (SocialBee.com) to start using Social Planner in GHL...and this is the one feature we have missed the most.  Very VERY excited to see it coming soon!

These would be great features to be added after we have the buckets available!

UPVOTE BUTTON! - Additional thought - For "evergreen buckets" AND/OR on a "singular recurring post" level, would love to have the option to write out multiple caption options (and generate with AI) that randomly get assigned to each recurring post to continue to make the content unique for the algorithm!

CloudCampaign has a feature similar to this currently!

Yes, this is something that set some original Social Media tools apart years ago like MeetAlfred, etc.
Post Categories will take Social Media calendaring to a whole other level.

Yes please! I'm current using a different Social Planner for this feature and it's a game changer for posting socials.
