Save Smart List (Contacts) Columns
planned

When I add columns to smartlists/columns, for example, opportunity and source, there is no way to save those columns. When you go back you have to add them again. There are certain columns I use all the time (other people too I'm sure). It would be great if there was a way to save them.

I noticed this was posted a long time ago, but it's marked as planned and with a lot of voters. When is this going to be reflected on the CRM?

Hi, does anyone know when this will be completed? This is definitely crucial for car dealerships. They do not have time to reorganize their contact sheet every time they click out of it.

Marjorie Sandford a good workaround is to sort the FIELDS inside the Fields folders so that they appear in the same general order of how the fields are organized themselves.
I've actually had to create an Excel Macro in order to re-sort all of my fields post export. It's a pain for sure.

Yess!! Being able to select and add columns is great but immediately dissapear upon page refresh. Making them static would be clutch!

It is possible to save the columns that are displayed in a Smart List BUT you cant edit the order of those columns. It would be great to be able to drag these columns to fit an order that makes sense for the account.

This is planned but is there any update please? In September 2024 this is a basic requirement. Thanks!

Yes. We absolutely need to be able to save our customized columns view.

Being able to save column views and to re-order them would be great.

Unable to search contacts via other standard fields - like {{ contact.address1 }} As of now you can only use the search bar for "Search by contact name, email, business name or tag. You can also search by the phone number (minimum 3 digits)." This should be expanded to any custom fields that are built within the system. Instead of just filtering we can actively search them as well. A lot of the times I am searching based on an address not the name or a phone number.

I agree. My clients use the "address" field often and it is extremely inconvenient to have to go in and add it each time. Additionally, being able to reorder which columns appear first on the Contact feed would be extremely helpful. Some of those fields are more important to specific industries than others and giving the Client the ability to craft their own Contacts page per their needs is a very needed feature.
