When we sell, there are often multiple people involved in the deal from the same company. After closing a customer as won, we'd like to mark the company, not the contact, as the client, and then segment our newsletter based on whether the company is a client or not.
I.e. let's say person A, B and C all work for Company X.
If we closed Company X as a client, then all three persons should go to the "Customer Newsletter" list.
To achieve this, we need to be able to:
- add custom fields on the company level
- use company custom fields as the filter to create our lists
If we can create custom fields on opportunities, and also use opportunity fields to create lists of contacts, even better. Because in the opportunity, we might for example mark them as interested as Service A or B (dropdown), and depending on that, send different automations to the contact in the opportunity when they reach a certain stage.
