"Per Seat/Cover" Availability for Restaurant Reservations Calendar

We need to add a "Per Seat" availability feature in the calendar, not just "Per Room." For example, if the restaurant's available seats are 100, booking a table for 2 should reduce the count to 98, and after a 90-minute wait, those 2 seats should be credited back to the total available seats, allowing more bookings.

Set a total seat limit and track guest numbers in the event calendar, that way, it works for basic restaurant bookings or live events with limited capacity.

To add to this I specialise in restaurant booking software. This runs into issues when you connect table or tables of say 4 and 3 book. Knocking off the extra seat. It can be solved with a buffer or by adding table numbers with min and max capacity.
