🚨Charge a DEPOSIT and not full price in new SERVICES calendar

This should be done as soon as possible!
The new SERVICES CALENDAR is AMAZING but there is still a lot of things that we need to be able to make it PERFECT!
For now, if we want to indicate the full price for each service we must integrate Stripe. This is great BUT it means that we are obliged to charge the full price to our clients BEFORE the booking date. Unfortunately this is not how it works in the service niche (hairsalon, spa, ...), they like to charge a deposit or to have a bank imprint (not charged) to prevent them from no-shows, and then ask the clients for the rest of the payment when the client is in front of them (in cash, they love cash haha).
We should have the possibility of charging only a deposit (which we would configure in the settings of each calendar) but without changing the indication of the full price of each service in the service menu.
This means that we should have the possibility to configure for each service:
- the full price
- the amount of deposit we want to charge
and this for each service.

Awesome to see this was pushed this week! Adding in my two cents here as well. GHL just launched partial payments for calendar services. Final step here would be to also replicate the partial payment when booking internally which would then create an invoice for the service. The current solution is perfect when the client is booking, but misses the ability for the staff / company to book on behalf of the client - which is more common in beauty industry. Big SaaS's like Vagaro have this functionality and is one of the final missing puzzle pieces for GHL. Attached is a quick mockup!

Alex King has this been taken care?

Rajesh Yadav No, not this particular feature. The company needs the ability to charge / generate an invoice when booking the appointment on behalf of the client from the Calendar dashboard.

I'm super pumped for this new feature to roll out for my cleaning lady and medspa clients.
Hoping it covers both one-time and recurring appointments.
And hey, wouldn't it be awesome to give clients their own app or portal for booking appointments? They could manage their schedules, make new bookings, the whole shebang.
Here are some extra cool features I'd love to see:
Ease of booking: Customers can make new bookings or duplicate existing ones with pre-populated fields for ease of booking.
Cancellations: Set up cancellation fees based on services canceled to stop short notice cancellations.
Advanced cancellations: Add in mandatory reasons to choose when canceling so that you can run reports to determine why customers are canceling.
Reviews: Customers can rate each service directly from inside their account so that you can track company performance.

This is ridiculous! Every booking system allows you to pay a deposit, take full payment or pay later! Massive flaw in the system.

David Luck Totally and GHL does a lot of things that other booking systems don't. I feel you, just of course, you can't have every feature at launch because it's a trade of what you will develop first. Eventually, thanks to this portal, it will have everything!!!
