All users get system notifications for new appointments

We have a shared calendar for appointments for our business. Whenever a new appointment is scheduled, all users get a system notification saying: "You have a new appointment booked with firstname lastname", even if they are not assigned to the contact or the owner of the appointment. This is causing much confusion with my staff and clients.
We can not switch to assigned data only, our team collaborates. The system notification does not seem to be affected by the notification settings.
Rewording this notification would help, the "You" implies that they are themselves the appointment owner. It would be great if we could disable this notification entirely, or have better control over how these system notifications are sent.

Agree. We need much more granularity on who gets what notifications, including system notifications.
