Add contact to recurring calendar appt already created through workflows

We have recurring group appt that happens monthly. Contacts can purchase the program and then need added to that recurring group appt. It would be nice if this could be a step in the onboarding workflow after purchase. So adding the contact to a specific calendar appt, and since it's a recurring appt, the guest would be added to ALL the recurring times/dates of said appt, through the workflow operation.
