We are also looking into a scalable solution at the moment. Our requirements:

-> Automated URL shortening in workflows -> A link can be created as an action in WF. The source of the destination can be pulled from a dynamic source, like a custom field of the contact. -> The result / shortened URL can be used in the following steps to either

A: Be copied into a different custom field

B: Be used as a dynamic source in following WF action steps / as a variable in an email or sms.

-> Branded domain for the URL

-> no limit (we will be creating 1,000s of shortened URLs / Month)

-> smart slug generation (min. length / Incremental — slugs follow each other in order / Random — slugs contain 3 or more random characters / Secure — slugs contain 12 random characters)

-> Track performance of links

-> UTM/Campaign settings that are added to the destination URL

I agree. Need something where we can either use a GHL provided domain or bring our own domain. Should existing within the QR code generator area. Great for SMS messages and overall general tracking of clicks within social posts.

I'd love to be able to monitor shortlink clicks in the same dashboard where I'd monitor QR code scans!

Absolutely, this would be very convenient and make it easier to track as well. It would save time on having to use other outside apps for this purpose.
