See all courses but only access your purchase

When a user logs into the library they should be able to see top level view of all the courses in the library BUT they can only access what they have purchased. If they click on a course they have not purchased it should take the user to the sales page for that course. If they have access it will take them to the the course. This will entice users to look around and buy courses they may not have access too.

Indeed there is a way to achieve that with in-app upsells. The catch here is that you have to configure the upsells for each course. That's time-consuming and not user-friendly. The Initial feature request here is to add a simple toogle to choose whether we want a course to be displayed in the library tab.
second important point, the checkout page you access when you want to purchase a course via the in app upsell is terrible. We need to have the possibility to link to our regular sell page (in funnels) to provide the best experience and increase conversion. Idealy it should be a sort of embeded sell page so that you stay within your course environement. But as an MVP I would like to have a redirect to a regular sells page (in funnel)
Third I woul add, that in the actual library, the upsell courses (those you don't own) are displayed with a blurred thumbnail. Again this kills conversion, .the thumbnail convey lot of info also about the course. It would be better to have an other UI to show that you don't own the course and not a full blur of the thumbnail.
Thanks

How sad that this isn't done yet. Such a simple feature, and so necessary. It's a deal killer for this platform (for people with more than one product).

Hello everyone, I found out a way to actually do this!
You can feature additional offers as in-app upsells inside your course portal.
To do this:
Go to Courses > Offers.
Click on any offer to edit it.
At the top of the offer editor, click the "Upsell" tab.
Click the "+ Add Upsell" button.
Select In-App Upsell, then choose the other offers you'd like to show as upsells inside your course portal.
Then once you customized the whole thing - make sure that you switch the status to ACTIVE as it is "inactive" by default.

Harsh Chhabra please make sure that this is only an option and not standard. Ideally We would be able to toggle something per course on whether we want it to show as an upsell to those that don’t have access. If it just shows all courses by default, that could be very overwhelming for users. This should also be tied to the tabs in the course portal that say “My Courses” and “All Courses”.

Laurice Joy Sanchez very cool! I’ll check it out. Thank you!

Harsh Chhabra Please make sure this is optional. Many accounts cant use and connect payment processors like Stripe or PayPal, and instead, they create free offers and sell them using cash or bank transfers. If this is not optional, anyone could access paid courses for free.

I saw this on Dom Bavaro's Courses. Is this coding?

Laurice whoa that looks fantastic! Yeah that's what we need here! Great job bringing an example for the Devs.

This is so needed and a basic function: also adding a custom payment link for course visibilty to our own payment links would be amazing!

I see this still has not been resolved, my workaround is to imbed the client portal as an iframe on a GHL store website that has all my courses listed as global products.
I then have workflows that give access to the actual course offer if they they purchase a global product. By imbedding the portal as an iframe I am able to design around it so that it looks more branded and I am able to add a navigation bar that takes them back to all my global products.
If you choose to go this route be sure that the domains match for the portal and the store website and you should be able to avoid restriction issues.
Hope this makes sense and helps someone.

Is this seriously still not a thing?

I find it so strange how this isn't a thing! There should be an ability to offer this as well as being able to grant/revoke access at the category level within an individual course.
This is a pretty basic feature across LMS's. Saves having to create multiple products, where instead you could have one product/course and within there separate categories which work as individual modules. E.g. Could be a 10 module course with the first 3 as a free for all with the last 7 as paid access only.
Currently GHL is configured to require 10 products to serve as each of these 10 modules with an offer bundling them together with various upsell strategies depending on user's level of access which is far too convoluted for such a basic feature!
