Would be much more time efficient if we were able to simply add an embed code or a URL for the videos in our membership sites versus having to download the videos and then upload them.

I can't believe that this simple suggestion is 3 years old and it's still not been executed! It should be an easy code add and it would help GHL not to use that much of the hosting space

YES! We have chapters added to our coure videos and when you download them, the chapters do not transfer over on the upload. Some of our course videor are well over 1 hour so the ability to have chapters would be a huge help.

Agree, this would be awesome as many clients are already hosting existing courses on Vimeo, Wistia, YouTube, and even Loom etc. Would be nice to just drop the link vs having to download and re-upload.

But to also allow the embed code to be hidden to the user so they can't "view source" and copy, paste and share the embed code with non-members. Ie. With Loom... it's easy to view the original video via the embed code which then also enables sharing. Most embedding requires the link to be 'public' so anyone with it can watch it. This would negate the use of the membership feature. In essence, we need to be able to protect our content from unauthorised downloading and sharing.

I'd like to add this but still keep uploading as an option.
