We did a couple campaigns in September to test out automatic voicemail and text drops, which is really cool, but we very quickly discovered the cost of Twilio and incurred $500 in charges that month. Absolutely ridiculous and we won't be doing that again until we find an alternative.

Also Twilio is a nightmare right now, they are not cleaning their numbers and every number we get is already spam likely and our clients cant call and are getting frustrated with us. We need to be able to integrate our own numbers or have alternatives who clean their numbers properly

Urgently need alternatives to Twilio. Some clients are using well established SMS platforms and won't migrate to Twilio. Please open this up.

Twilio is outrageously expensive in Australia at 7.5c per segment.

Has an alternative to this already been found? The SMS prices are really ridiculously expensive in europe. I would love to hear about it.

Same issue in South Africa. Twilio costs about 8-10 times the amount for phone calls than local networks. The inbound cost locally is zero. The SMS options are also about 3x the price through Twilio.
