I would like to have the ability to select the phone number I’m texting from. We have the ability to choose when calling out, but not when sending out messages.
Could be how we choose the channel for sending messages from, phone, instagram, email, facebook, etc…

While it's awesome we can select a number to send from manually in conversations which I've done, and we can set the number globally in the entire automation, it will be super helpful to have the option to choose the number in an SMS action step. It would make my workflow ideas actually function and I wouldn't have to create entirely separate calendars, workflows, sequences. This would avoid a major admin overhead and ease managing workflows.
As it stands right now for appointment reminders, I'd have to setup separate workflows and calendars so the reminders fire off on time based on region, rather than just having an if/else with the ability to choose the phone number in the action step.
Much needed feature request.

It's here. Guys, please can we have this implemented in the automations section.
I want to be able to select a phone number in the automations section instead of each contact being assigned.
In the automations module settings for SMS, there should be an ability to select the number that sends the SMS. This is important.
This is a function that ontraport offers its users and we need it in here in GHL.

The phone/text system needs to be spun out of of GHL And a separate stand alone system.
Who here is tired of paying TCR fees for every location when one phone number would have been enough for ALL locations? Not to mention the long list of issues that phone numbers tied to locations is creating!!!!
GHL location silos has been driving me nuts for three years... and now I'm on the brink of going insane... now that phone system is built on a location specific foundation.... Why? Please tell me why?!!

Please make this an option to manually sending SMS.. the new feature released today that allows you to choose the FROM number for automated SMS only applies to automated SMS and doesn't even lock in that number for manual SMS.. it still sends manual SMS from the default number on file.
