The current native call transcriptions are terrible if you're not an US accented person. I'm a New Zealander, and the call transcriber cannot understand me or my clients accents. The transcription is so terrible, there would be no way we could safely use the trancript in summaries or workflows.
My current process, if the call recording is needed, is to manually download the file, upload it into Descript, and then pull the transcript.
We need:
  1. To have the call transcriber the same (if not better) than the one that is used for Voice AI (although even this one is touch and go at times)
  2. When a new recording is avaliable, save it to Media Storage / Google Drive / One Drive
  3. Use Zap/Webhook etc to send the call audio to another place for transcription
We need better functionality with the Phone system - especially for transcription and/or summaries.
