Feature Killer: Why Requiring a New Number Cripples Voice AI and MCTB

A significant barrier is preventing clients from adopting valuable Voice AI and Missed Call Text Back (MCTB) features: the requirement to use a new "LC" phone number.
Here's the core problem:
Clients Won't Change Numbers: Our prospects have established business phone numbers that their customers have known and trusted for years. They are almost universally unwilling to switch to a new number, as it would disrupt their business and confuse their customers.
Features are Tied to the New Number: Because both Voice AI and MCTB require an "LC" number, clients who keep their existing phone number cannot use these services. This severely limits our ability to sell these powerful tools.
While a workaround involving call forwarding exists (forwarding their old number to the new LC number), it presents its own challenges. It's a complicated solution to explain and is especially difficult to demonstrate to a potential client, making the sales process even harder.
To increase adoption, these features need to work with a client's existing phone number without requiring complex workarounds.
