Don’t restrict sms messaging based off opt out if we are following protocol

I get that you want to avoid spam, but if everything is above board in collecting information, getting consent, and in the wording of the messages, we shouldn’t be penalized for opt out rate. That’s totally out of our control.

I agree! A 2% opt out rate is ridiculously low. If someone only sends 10 messages and one person opts out, they are already over the 2%.
There has to be a better way to measure spam. If an account is following all rules like Michael mentioned, that should be taken into consideration for the opt out rate.
Someone running Facebook Ads can received leads that have opted in to receive information/get a quote and as soon as the first message goes out to acknowledge the submission, the prospect can opt out. That shouldn't count against the sub-account.
Another thing to mention is the notification emails are delayed and sometimes sent out of order. We've received some warning emails after we received the temporary restriction email for a sub-account. Which makes it difficult to notify our clients in time to make changes before being restricted, even with automations.
