We’ve run into a critical limitation around invoices and payments that are affecting our ability to use the platform efficiently for our service-based business.
Manually Scheduled Appointments Don't Trigger the Same Payment + Invoice Flow as Client Bookings
When a client books themselves via the calendar, the process is seamless:
  • The payment is collected at booking
  • An invoice is automatically generated
  • The payment shows as “Amount Paid” on the invoice
When we manually schedule an appointment, none of that happens:
  • The calendar doesn't trigger payment or invoice creation
  • Checkout links have to be sent manually
  • Payments are logged, but not tied to an invoice
Requested Feature:
Let manually created appointments trigger a workflow that mimics the full booking experience:
  • Create invoice
  • Track payment
  • Show deposit as “Amount Paid”
These features would massively improve workflows for businesses like ours that offer:
  • Recurring client sessions
  • Service-based billing
  • Split payments (e.g. deposit + final invoice)
