Currently, including SMS notifications for recurring invoices applies to the first invoice as well as all scheduled "invoice due" and "invoice late" notifications.
- I don't want to send an SMS on the initial sending of the invoice - just an email is sufficient for an invoice that might be due in 30 days. However,
- I do want to send an SMS for invoices due in X days (ie. T-5 days to invoice due date)
- I do want to send an SMS for invoices overdue
Can we please toggle SMS on/off for each invoice interval?

Incredibly lame and unprofessional that highlevel forces you send sms notifications to your clients and then also charges your for doing so. what a nightmare that i am literally forced into sending sms notifications related to invoicing clients with no ability to disable it. think about all the random services you pay for, do they all send you sms for billing stuff or just send you an email? we should be able to disable this and only have email notifications.

Mark Hoffman You can toggle SMS off if you don't want any SMS messages. You might be seeing that the SMS toggle in Invoice Settings page is locked, but when you actually hit "Send" on an invoice, it lets you choose between:
- Email + SMS
- Email Only
- SMS Only.
This post is about having more granular control over which invoice notifications have SMS. I'm asking for the ability to toggle SMS off for the initial invoice, but turn it on for certain reminders.

I have some clients that have custom payment plans if there is a way to schedule a payment plan with editable due dates and text/email reminders.
