STATE TAX SHOULD BE IN SETUP. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO ADD TAX TO EACH PRODUCT ONE AT A TIME. IF ANYTHING IT SHOULD BE ON ALL PRODUCTS AND THE CHECK COULD BE REMOVED IF IT WAS NOT TAXED. IF A COMPANY OR ORG. IS TAX EXCEMPT IT SHOULD BE IN THE COMPANY SETUP OVER RIDING TAXES. AND WOULD REQUIRE A FORM OR #.

Thank you Sales & Marketing. We'd love to see the company feature part of this request. Our clients have specific companies they serve that are tax exempt. Tracking that at invoice time, for every single invoice, is a time consuming manual process. Please be sure to let me know if this part needs to get split out as a separate feature request so we don't lose that if it's not included. 🙏

75% of our sales have no tax and 25% are taxed so the option must be still present.

Sales & Marketing Guys please take a look at how Spiffy Checkout does sales. There is a basic setup that costs nothing and it works really well for most things. Example: Canadian tax for Canadian vendors is calculated depending on the province.

Agreed, AND this would allow sync with QB invoicing. Currently, with sales tax applied per line item - when sync'd with QB - it ADDS the sales tax to each line item. The only correction is to edit each line once it is in QB to remove the sales tax and then add to invoice total. Much easier to sync with QB if sales tax on invoice total (with ability to check/uncheck per line to tax properly)
