Sales & Marketing Please, any answer as to why it is marked as completed when the platform doesn't reflect a way to reset the invoice number?

Sales & Marketing Why is this marked as complete when there is no where to seem to edit the Invoice numbers? If you change one, they all start counting up from there but no way to change it back again.

I simply can't understand why changing the prefix is available for estimates and not for invoices.

I finally discovered that by manually setting an invoice number, the next invoice starts counting up from there. So that's something. But no custom prefix...?

They have it marked as completed but I cannot find it anywhere.

It says, its completed, but i cant find where to set this? Or am I wrong and its still not possible to set a start Number?! I am in Europe - like many here - and we NEED to have increasing numbers by LAW!

Now for example i need to have 2025-0001 as start and next year i need to be able to change the prefix to 2026...

we have this for receipts and now estimates but not invoices? We can also change the prefix (e.g. REC for receipts and EST for estimates) but again not for invoices?

1 - we need this as different clients/businesses need to align it with their current structure or platform.

2 - It should be consistent across all areas, it's just good practice.

Actually, we need for custom prefix and custom start/end numbers sequences to identify or in advanced management for different product lines, clients types, department tags…. etc. in custom assignment, flexibility…
