Different Processing Fee for CC vs ACH

A way to NOT or Reduce charge for the processing fee for ACH, but charge the processing fee for everything else, specifically Credit Cards with the GHL native "Processing Charges" option.
We have gotten a lot of complaints lately where they chose ACH instead to not get hit with the fee, but still get hit with it.

For now, just change the verbiage to "Payment Processing Fee" instead of "Credit Card Processing Fee" until the dev team can have one fee for ACH and one fee for CC/Debit. Its misleading and caused an issue with a client.

ACH vs Credit Card Processing Fess. The box says "Credit Card Processing Fee" so we added 3% in that box for when they pay by CREDIT CARD, however, the words are incorrect as it charges the processing fee on ALL methods.
Now have a pissed off client... I told them we do not charge fees if they pay by ACH and 3% if they pay by credit card.
They paid by ACH and were charged 3%. On the invoice set up screen, it asks how much we want to charge for CREDIT CARD processing. We put 3%. There is NO BOX for ACH so that tells me, we are not going to charge the client a processing fee for ACH, however, they were charged 3%. I promptly told them we'll refund it, however, the client jumped the gun and stopped payment on the entire invoice and now our merchant account has a "ding" and we are getting hit with a stopped payment fee from Stripe.
PLEASE AT A MINIMUM fix the language on the invoice screen where it says credit card processing fee to just say "Payment Processing Fee". It does not say ACH / EFT, it says CREDIT CARD, yet the system bills out for processing on ALL payment types.
** Please add a second option for ACH processing fee
** And to start just take the words "credit card" off and leave it as a processing fee across all types until you can divide it out to charge one fee for ACH and one fee for Credit and Debit Cards.

Different Processing Charges for Payment Methods

It would be helpful to allow businesses to set separate processing rates for different payment types—such as one rate for credit cards and a different or no fee for ACH. This encourages customers to choose lower-cost options while keeping credit cards available for convenience. It also helps businesses manage processing costs more transparently and fairly.

The current processing fee setup feels incomplete and misleading. The invoice specifically labels it as a credit card processing fee, yet when the fee is enabled, it applies to every payment method instead of only credit cards. That creates confusion for both us and the client.
Yes, we can manually turn the fee on or off per invoice, but that is not a realistic solution. If the fee is described as a credit card processing fee, it should only apply to credit card transactions by default. Having to manage that manually on every invoice is unnecessarily cumbersome and makes the feature feel poorly thought out.
This becomes even more frustrating when trying to encourage ACH payments, since ACH should be the clear exception to that fee, not included in it. As it stands, the functionality does not match the label or the intended purpose, and that makes the feature feel incomplete.

DEFINITELY! With the current implementation, if you set a "Credit Card Fee" it will charge that no matter what payment method they choose (ACH transfer, Debit card etc). Then it just makes your company just look slimy

This would be great for NMI integration.

We are also getting customer complaints that it charges a CC processing fee if they pay with ACH also.

We definitely need this and it seems like it might be a simple addition. This would help with a lot of complaints. It is a feature that most systems have.

Yes, please, we need this!

Yes, I would like to encourage people to pay by ACH by rewarding them to pay with ACH by 0% charge and if they pay by credit card they are charged 3%
