Custom Field Setup for Recurring Invoices

Need a custom field setup for recurring invoices that can handle multiple payment options, like 22 weekly payments. It should include start date, end date, and total number of payments for easy, automated processing.
For instance we would create a custom field: ends on {{custom field}}
starts on {{custom field}}
price {{custom field}}
etc. etc.

For example, client starts service on Nov 1 and will recur monthly on the 15th every month. Current settings will only allow a full month starting today or any day in future, no partial months up front allowed. If a client has to replace their card or starts at a different time than the monthly start date, there is no way to accommodate. Would be great to allow for flexible start dates and recurring dates to cover most any situation.
