I run a photography service that goes to client locations daily. I am hacking together something that sort of works, but it would be great to have support for service appointments of varying duration.

The basic customer journey for my business is: pick services > see total > allow cart edits > gather info > select date on the calendar > take a deposit payment > create invoice with selected services (minus deposit paid) > complete service and bill client

School districts use a similar system, however after receiving a quote, they send a Purchase Order in lieu of money. Next, we invoice them and provide the service and once they're satisfied, they send a physical check. The Purchase Order is a legally binding contract for services as a form of payment, however GHL does not have a way to accept these 'orders' without a card payment being made. If the 2-step order form could have an "upload Purchase Order" option to go alongside this 'Quote --> Purchase Order --> Invoice --> Check' process that would phenomenal and would help organize incoming funds a lot cleaner than the PO-submission form we have now that gets manually merged into the contact, after which the Quote gets manually updated and sent out to the customer as an Invoice.

How about integrating moneybird for this? That gives you everything you need to let people sign estemates and with automation if invoice isn't paid and payment qr code on the invoice and all of that!

Just wondering if we had any ideas on ETA?
