The way it usually works with a service business that requires a job description is we create a proposal that includes the line items with a detailed description and then the legal terms. We also include standard protocols that describe the care we put into our service. This is a proposal that has to sell, after all. If they agree to and sign the proposal, then at the completion of the job, we send an invoice. The problem is, GHL does not let you convert proposals to invoices, only estimates. As long as the proposal template uses the product-price table, and it remains common with the invoice, it should convert that to the invoice.
I really don't want my clients having to then create an invoice after they already created the product-price table in a proposal, but without a proposal, I don't have a signed contract. So my client is stuck having to create a separate invoice from scratch.
Hopefully, this gets corrected.
