Activate COD without a prior payment integration

According to change log,
a manual payment method can be set up when a payment integration is already connected in the current version.
We need to be able to make COD as default payment without integrating another payment method like stripe and paypal. We need this in building a COD only store.

This is already live for Ecommerce Stores & Order forms. Store owners can make their stores just manual payment stores without any need of connecting to an online payment method.

Sales & Marketing but there is no way to pick COD as default or just choose what method to show in different checkouts.
Can't use COD in funnels.
Can't rearrange payment methods.
I want to use COD in certain offers/checkouts and not in others, can't manage that. Please give us more flexibility 🙏
