Hi. I'm copy/pasting the thread of a conversation I had with your white glove Slack channel here:

Hi GHL Team. Is there a field within the product funnel area where we can change and edit a product identifier? It might be considered a sku or metadata. This is what needs to be updated: prod_N8emqR7uidgtsl (edited)

Hey!
@Kris Harty PP Acct Manager
This looks like a product ID, this is either created by the GHL system or Stripe. Currently, we can't edit the ID generated by either system

Yes it seems to have been created by GHL. Here's the positive impact it would have if the field were editable. We could then match the product ID to what Stripe knows the product ID as, and that would allow collecting sales data and taxing those sales an automated process for our client Jessa, as Stripe seamlessly imports data into Quaderno for her tax system. Easy peasy.
As it is now, because GHL and Stripe use different product IDs, Jessa has to manually track her sales from GHL and manually do the tax work on them. Not an easy process, or a productive or efficient use of her time - not to mention inaccuracies that can result. Accuracy is paramount where taxes are concerned, of course.
Stripe will allow for editing this product ID field for products that are live and not Archived. However, somehow when GHL transmits or tries to transmit info to Stripe, it causes the product to be Archived. No edits can be done on Archived products in Stripe.
None of her products sold on other platforms have this issue. Only sales generated through our funnels on GHL cause this problem for her.
Can a ticket be created to make this field in GHL editable? And sooner than later - please? I have to believe other clients must be encountering this issue too.
This is a big tax-related issue and needs a fix, please. Thank you!
