Having the IDX integration would allow realtors to set up their clients inside of highlevel email and text them listings as well as create web pages with idx integrated.

Where are with this? I would like some kind of plug in within the contacts, where each contact can have their own search option. I have another CRM, that is a real estate crm that has this feature, it streamlines the process.

Dionne Randle If you reach out to me on Facebook I can help out with this. We have the ability for each contact to have their own saved searches in GHL using IDXAddons.com. So this is homes in their chosen area.
Is that what you are referring to? Let me know. If we don't have what you need, we can build it.

Dionne Randle Dionne - I am confused what GHL can do on this, beyond what Realty Candy has already done - its awesome. in my GHL, for any contact, i can within GHL create custom IDX searches - using an address, a polygon, anything i can do in our MLS tools, Realty Candy makes it easy to do within GHL. Then each contact receives their search results and when they click and look at any properties - that activity - at the property level as viewed shows up in my GHL contact. isn't that what you are asking for - and the folks at Realty Candy are just amazing at answering questions to help anyone get going (they had many from me at first and answered every one!).
I don't see how a GHL can financially even consider getting into the IDX business.. they'd be competing with well established companies who specialize in this and have years and years of a head start.. They could never be as focused or experienced as a Realty Candy. (and no i dont work for them or get compensated in any way... i came to them after trying three others and remain so impressed after a couple years of use..)

Everyone is talking about IDXaddons but thats pretty expensive. Can't we have some plugin like: realtypress.ca

Zill Syed Just so you know.... Our software at https://idxaddons.com is free. You just need a subscription to IDX Broker.
K
Keith Winn
Zill Syed That MAY be good in Canada - but here in the US - I don't think so.
and - Since when did people start thinking all software should be free?
I don't want my software vendors to be in a "race to the bottom" to see who can downsize the most, have the least experienced staff and worse support.

Keith Winn I understand Keith and I agree with you.

There is a great integration at https://idxaddons.com/ghl that is free for people who use IDX Broker. I don't believe it is in HighLevel's best interest to get mired down in the real estate niche to the level that it would take for them to compete with IDX Broker and iHomefinder.
I think since we already have a whitelabel solution that it is best for GHL to work on making their product the best they can, and opening up more API endpoints like "CustomObjects_Write" and then let 3rd parties develop the industry-specific solutions to work on their platform. :)

Please don't do this. It's a whole business inside itself.

If this is under review, does anybody have an update on what is being reviewed and/or considered? As a founder of an app that utilizes an IDX feed, I know there are a ton of things to consider. 500+ MLSs with various versions of the IDX data feeds (RETS, Bridge, MLSGrid, RESO data dictionary considerations, etc.), user authentication requirements, etc. Trust me. IDX is an entire world in of itself. I doubt GHL would want to assume responsibility of managing it's own IDX feed and policing how real estate agents display information, including offered compensation on sites, when the DOJ and a handful of attorneys is looking to pounce. Simplifying plugins and marketplace integrations for real estate agents to utilize is likely the way to go on this.

Michael Spickes exactly! Maybe a plugin or something from existing IDX company would make more sense.

Yes, with the new NAR settlement rules going into affect an IDX integration would allow us to compete with companies ListingSplit, NestHook, and Gitcha. We would also be able to eliminate kvCore, IDX Broker, and KW Command. IDX!! LETS! GOOO!!!

If we could have an IDX system, we would blow the Sox off chime, IDX broker etc

not sure GHL would be well served to make an IDX - as that's an entire business in itself.
IMHO - This integration is already EXCEPTIONALLY well served by vendor:
https://idxaddons.com/ghl - this company "Realty Candy" is a developer for
https://www.idxbroker.com/ and they both rock.. stil now its 2/2024 - and they still have a few kinks to iron out - but they are very supportive..
