Create contacts from Outlook - enable auto BCC sync for Outlook

We were told by GHL support that the auto BCC sync feature only works in Gmail. If we add the provided BCC email address in the CC or BCC when sending an email to a non-contact in Gmail, the person is created as contact in the CRM.
However, this feature doesn't work in Outlook. You need to send the first email via the CRM to established the two-way sync and there's no way to create contact from Outlook.
Most of our clients are using Outlook and they want to be able to use this feature.

Still not working, and very frustrating, for me as agency owner (who uses Zoho) and my clients (who use Gmail and Outlook) can we PLEASE get AutoBCC working so we can get our clients info into GHL easily!

We can't even make the bcc work from outlook when the client is already setup as contact in CRM - can you?

I was told - in writing - that we would have full two way synch with MS OUtlook (as they advertise) by the end of December. Not a work aournd with the bcc or any other clunky clumsy functions, but full synching like everyone has experienced with SalesForce, AActgive Campaign, Zoho etc. It wastes so much having to do synching as so many business to business clients use OUtlook and it's just too hard to add contacts from your email and synch, or vice versa. False advertising!

Jacqui Frost: hi and no. Nothing works. Unfortunately we’ve all been lied to repeatedly about this and they still advertise they have two way synch. Blatant false advertising. I’ve had two way synch with Zoho Active Campaign and Salesforce and it was so easy to use and the integrator sat in Outlook. I assumed I was getting the same with GHL. What they offer is a useless workaround at best where the success is based on the user remembering to di a bunch of steps, not the CRM

Very important! Most business customers use Outlook, not Google.

Yusuf Young: Agree - all my emails are Outlook and need to be able to bcc client emails to CRM without full sync as certain info is too sensitive to be shared to CRM so needs copying manually

Yusuf Young: agree. I lose so many contacts from Outlooks into GHL or waste a lot of time.
