HighLevel’s feature names drifted as modules were added, so newcomers meet three labels for the same idea:
Workflows → Automations (identical engine, two names).
Courses → Products → Offers inside the Course Builder, while Products in Payments refers to something else.
“Clone”, “Copy”, “Duplicate” all mean “make another”.
This breaks onboarding, confuses help-docs/search, and forces agencies to spend billable hours just translating UI.
Requested fixes
Publish an app-wide naming guide:
Automation engine = Workflows (everywhere).
Sellable digital item = Product (Courses, Payments, Offers all adopt it).
Update menu labels and docs to match the guide.
Show a tooltip “formerly ___” for 90 days so legacy users aren’t lost.
Use one verb set: Duplicate = full copy, Reference = linked copy.
One naming pass = faster onboarding, cleaner support articles, fewer user errors, and a more professional feel across the entire platform.
