Description of the problem:
Currently, when a HighLevel form captures an Argentine telephone number, even using the country selector, “9" is not automatically added to the international code (+54 9), which is the standard format for mobile phones in Argentina. However, HighLevel internally stores numbers with “9" (for example, +54 9 11 1234-5678). This causes that, every time someone completes a form, a duplicate contact is generated, since the number entered does not match the internal format.
Impact:
Duplicate contacts are created with each form submission from Argentina.
When you try to merge these contacts, the data captured in the form is lost, since automatic workflow merging doesn't transfer the custom fields from the duplicate to the main one.
It makes it difficult to manage leads and consolidate information in the CRM.
Request:
Correct the behavior of the telephone field in the forms so that it automatically adds the “9" when selecting Argentina as a country, aligning the format with the standard that HighLevel uses internally.
Improve deduplication logic to avoid creating duplicates due to differences in number format.
Ensure that form data is not lost when merging duplicate contacts created for this reason.
