Make Forms Customizable

I seriously love GHL and it's builder, but I can't STAND the form builder. It's extremely limited and I.wish you'd be able to use the site/funnel builder options for the form. It would be much easier/better if you could edit them like all the other buttons. Also, let page buttons SUBMIT a form!

Sales & Marketing: still cannot make it all "inline" like the button next to the other fields ? Like in the screenshot attached

Sales & Marketing: Agree with Paris Meisner... doing an inline form like this would be HUGE :D

Paris Meisner Studio Blows my mind that this isn't already a thing. The form builder is like a pile of shit in an ocean of diamonds.

It would be nice to be able to sort custom fields by Group as well as have a search feature in the form builder

Please add 'Webhook' as an option under 'On Form Submission' - Then allow me to incorporate elements of the webhooks response into the funnel or existing page or dictate the redirect. (Example, I receive a unique URL from my webhook response that I need to use to automatically redirect & login users to another application once they submit the form.)
Currently on form submission I can enter a workflow with a webhook, BUT there's no way to automatically route the user to the URL given in my webhooks response. This requires that I force the user to manually check their phone/email for the magicLink I now have to send through the workflow.

I would love to see the logo option in forms/surveys same as the email builder

Here is what I mean instead of uploading images on our own, let us choose from a menu:

The customization can be done but it've very cumbersome. If we could got better classes/id's and make it not have to use !important for every style, that would be amazing. Would give us developers more advance styling options.

Irvin Dominguez Does GHL forms and surveys support custom HTML and CSS codes? I'm trying to add the codes by placing a HTML block on the form, then pasting the code into the code editor.
Now, on my screen I can see the changes, but when I try to save it an error message pops up (I've included the screenshot).
And the worst part, when I try to preview it, all I can see on my screen is a tiny submit button, with the default styling. (I've also included the screenshot)
Can you please help?
Also, the strange thing is that when I try to do the same thing directly onto my landing page (i.e., add an HTML block and paste the code) it works fine.

Hey Ashutosh Roy, just seeing your reply. I hope you still find this helpful.
You can apply custom CSS and JS to both, the surveys and forms.
You can add it either as a block on the form or in the CSS field in the settings. Depending on your needs, your approach may be better as it tends to overwrite default styles better.
In order for the styles to apply, you'll have to be very specific on the CSS Youselectors. YForou may require to use the !important rule to force overwrite certain elements.
Most styles won't display on the editor so you'll have to use the preview.
Let me know if you require further assistance or feel free to reach out directly at irvin (at@) hvac marketing engine (.dot) com

The form on mobile are not that good! It would be great if we have better fit for mobile device. When we use the form as a Popup on other page builder for example!

Please give an option for an actual form that saves as a form instead of needing custom fields which makes the contact info hard to use.
M
Michael Romrell
Shawn Moser: Yes. This would solve my issue too. Namely that I need to set the form action to submit the data to a totally different domain (My custom application). Currently there is no way to do that, other than create custom fields for all of the data needed in this form (but isn't needed in the CRM) just so that I can setup a workflow with the Webhook Action.

Please make the custom form builder more flexible by adding new layout options. The only form layout options we have are vertical forms and it would be nice to be able to create horizontal forms like the image attached. We shouldn't have to use CSS to make this happen and it should be standard.

Jacob Ross
Johnson Brave: Where do you learn to do something like this? The aesthetics of the forms make me contemplate seeking out greener pastures.

Jacob Ross: Unfortunately, this is a screenshot from a website and not GHL.

Johnson Brave: If you's are interested in the horizontal form like this, i can give you the code (i know code is annoying to use). All you'll need to do is add the code and tweak a couple options depending on how many fields you have.
its just a workaround until they hopefully add this feature soon
