We can populate all types of fields into forms and surveys using URL parameters EXCEPT checkboxes. Can this be fixed?

I want to allow a user to re-visit a survey to see all of their previous answers and this works for everything except checkboxes.

As I understand this.. I do not believe that sticky contact will work in this situation. The method of doing this is to use a trigger link with the URL parameters and custom field values already added and the contact clicks the link from an email.
