It is frustrating to have to rebuild the settings for sending / scheduling a non automated campaign email.
What should happen:
  1. If a campaign is cloned the sending settings should be cloned with it. Not the sending times, but it should keep: Sender, Subject, Preview, Recipient(s), and Tag settings. (Subject and Preview could be left out, or turned red to highlight, or ask for confirmation to be reused before sending or something - often it's nice to see what was there before, but its less important than the rest.)
  2. We should be able to configure the settings on a folder so that all the campaigns in the folder keep the settings. That is usually the purpose of the folder to sort the campaign group from other campaign groups. Set the sender, recipient(s), and tag info to keep it consistent.
As is, it is annoying to have to go back and forth to check, and much more prone to errors when I have designers building out the emails.
Use Case - A weekly or a monthly update that has to be manually created - so it's not as automated. (ex. an update to donors of a non-profit)
If it's automated (in workflow) and they miss the deadline you are sending out poor info. And you are updating a template, so it is harder to send a new donor an older email.
In campaigns, Since settings are not saved it is prone to being sent to the wrong list.
