Sell the Source Code

In the event that GoHighLevel may shut down, The source code and “how to’s” on operating the software should be made public. Tens of thousands of agencies rely on your service, and if for some reason, GHL no longer exists, thousands of businesses are going to take a hit. Selling/ Distributing the source code can prevent that. I’m not saying to distribute it now, but in the event of some sort of shut down. It should be made an option.
Alternatively, you can create a 1 agency Software source code, and sell it for $5-10k. So the Agency can’t resell your software, but they can create unlimited sub accounts hosted on their own servers for their clients. Limiting the customer to only 1 Agency prevents them from reselling the software to other agencies. You can make sure of this by creating licensing keys that limit the software to 1 agency

This is never going to happen. You might as well be asking them to convert the platform to an open-source model.

Jason Levine, NREMT: Whats never going to happen; them getting bought out? Or selling the code?
Theres thousands of agencies that are providers for tons of small businesses, if something were to happen to the service, all these businesses that wouldve already been well integrated with the software would have to abruptly change.
This is just a worst case scenario.
