It would be great if you could have the Notifications as PopUp instead of just showing it in the right top corner.
Therefore you could use it as reminder for internal processes (next step) and as reminder for Appointments, Tasks etc.

We have an issue with one of our customers. They have a larger booking team. When a live chat comes in, they just see the notification in the window, but that often goes unseen. So a popup window or sound would be great. So they easy can identify that there is a message coming in
