Custom objects are a way to represent a relationship that your organization has with something that isn't one of HighLevel's standard objects.
EXAMPLE:
For a veterinarian's business we would be able to create a PET object. That object could have fields like owner, name, type, breed, etc.
We would be able to associate multiple pets to one owner.
We would also be able to associate calendar events (visits/checkups) to the Pet.
ANOTHER EXAMPLE:
Automobile Repair Shop. We would be able to create a CAR object. Fields like owner, make, model, year, color, etc.
We would be able to associate multiple cars to an owner.
We would be able to create an appointment and associate to a car.
BONUS: The ability to trigger off of a custom object. Add custom objects to a pipeline, etc.
BONUS: The ability to have the dynamic object fields available in emails, etc.
I believe these features would push HighLevel past being a marketing platform and into a platform that can be customized for daily operations.

I just created my trial account today fully expecting this capability would exist on the platform. I see now that I pulled the trigger to soon as this is a deal breaker for my use case. Will be following this thread for updates.

Jarrod Bassin it is in progress so i would not bail yet. It should be available this quarter i think. They usually launch with an MV version and quickly iterate from there.

Rory Silva and Keith2, Do you have any knowledge of when this will be available? We are waiting patiently but haven't seen anything listed on the changelog yet. Keith's last post said something about company object in the documents and contracts but wasn't clear on if this is a suggestion instead of a custom object or what. We really are waiting for Custom Objects for our functionality or we may have to abandon GHL. Sean - any update would be helpful as we are obviously past what was originally stated.

Stan Pletcher I'm not associated with HighLevel in any way. Last I heard it was being tested by a beta team. So I would guess that an "mvp" version will be out soon. HighLevel is good at this.

Wayne Daniels Jr Say you want to know which parishioners are in each discipleship group. You can create the discipleship group as a Custom Object and continue to use the Company object for family.
Once all of this is built out you will be able to perform workflow actions on Opportunities, the Company object, and Custom Objects just like you can with Contacts now.
And if they build it as a relational database you will be able to correlate family (Company) with which discipleship groups (Custom Objects) the family members (Contacts) are in.

Can custom objects have document repository? I BADLY need this for companies, the ability to have repository for company AND the ability to tie multiple companies to one contact as I work with serial entrepeneurs.

And title CMO CFO CEO as different roles/contacta under company. Then if smart lists can exclude contact and only compang will make easier to read for deal flow.
