Custom objects are a way to represent a relationship that your organization has with something that isn't one of HighLevel's standard objects.
EXAMPLE:
For a veterinarian's business we would be able to create a PET object. That object could have fields like owner, name, type, breed, etc.
We would be able to associate multiple pets to one owner.
We would also be able to associate calendar events (visits/checkups) to the Pet.
ANOTHER EXAMPLE:
Automobile Repair Shop. We would be able to create a CAR object. Fields like owner, make, model, year, color, etc.
We would be able to associate multiple cars to an owner.
We would be able to create an appointment and associate to a car.
BONUS: The ability to trigger off of a custom object. Add custom objects to a pipeline, etc.
BONUS: The ability to have the dynamic object fields available in emails, etc.
I believe these features would push HighLevel past being a marketing platform and into a platform that can be customized for daily operations.

Wayne Daniels Jr Say you want to know which parishioners are in each discipleship group. You can create the discipleship group as a Custom Object and continue to use the Company object for family.
Once all of this is built out you will be able to perform workflow actions on Opportunities, the Company object, and Custom Objects just like you can with Contacts now.
And if they build it as a relational database you will be able to correlate family (Company) with which discipleship groups (Custom Objects) the family members (Contacts) are in.

Can custom objects have document repository? I BADLY need this for companies, the ability to have repository for company AND the ability to tie multiple companies to one contact as I work with serial entrepeneurs.

And title CMO CFO CEO as different roles/contacta under company. Then if smart lists can exclude contact and only compang will make easier to read for deal flow.

Chris Jarrett, even after it is live, it is almost certainly going to be a minimum viable product (MVP). We, the user community, will encounter gaps, oversights, and well-it-doesn’t-do-thats which will mean we have to come back to the ideas board and make requests for specific functionality within the framework. HL rarely releases something that just works the way you would expect it to right out of the box. Shaun Clark

Brandon Lee Companies are non-functional. Opportunities are non-functional. I have no idea how they expect us to use Opportunity Followers without a Workflow action email Contact, Followers, and Additional Contacts. Everything they release requires us to find issues, come back here to write a suggestion, get votes, and eventually the gap in what was released gets plugged. So, please forgive me if I don’t hold my breath expecting that it will be truly a functioning product on initial release. That is opposite to the HighLevel project management philosophy.

Grateful to hear that this is in progress as this was the feature that had us look at doing a CRM. GHL seemed like a CRM with amazing marketing features. Without the ability to do a true relational database with one to many relationships like what is described here, it really isn't a very strong CRM at all. This is a critical feature! Thanks for working on this. We'll wait patiently!

We need this feature - for the real estate industry - to track assets in the sales process - associate potential buyers and also for the Real Estate asset management business - to store documents and create notifications- example when a lease needs to be renewed - this section would have to have private client portal security - when will it be complete?
